How we check every price

Vendor pages only, dated, and nothing guessed.

Every price on YouPayThat comes from the vendor's own US pricing page or its official help center. We do not use reseller lists, review sites or numbers from memory. Each tool page shows the date we last checked it and links to the page we read.

What we record

  • The price per month when you pay monthly, and the per-month price when you pay yearly. If a vendor shows only one, we show only one.
  • Whether the price is per seat, per user or a flat account price. Payroll tools get a base fee plus a fee per person, the way they bill.
  • Seat minimums, required onboarding fees and plans that can only be paid yearly.
  • Plans with no public price are marked as quote only. We never estimate them.

What we leave out

If a pricing page loads its numbers in a way we cannot read, or the page does not say whether a price is monthly or yearly, we either label the assumption on the tool page or leave the tool out until we can confirm it. Limited-time promotions are noted but never used as the price. Sales tax is not included.

How the math works

Monthly cost is the seat price times the larger of your seat count or the plan minimum. First-year cost is twelve months of that plus any one-time fee. Annual savings compare the two billing options at the same seat count. All prices are in US dollars.

How often we check

We recheck every tracked price every 48 hours against the vendor's US pricing page, and update the date on the tool page each time. When a vendor announces a change, we check it the same day. 87 tools are tracked today. If you spot a price that has moved, tell us and we will check it within two business days.

Vendors change prices without notice. Treat every number here as a strong starting point, then confirm on the vendor's page before you sign.
