Cheapest CRM for a 3-person team in 2026: the first-year bill, ranked
Seven CRMs priced for three seats on their entry plans, with the features the cheap plans leave out and what the second tier will cost you.
Short answer: for three people, the cheapest paid CRM we track is Close on Solo at $27 a month, $324 for the year. The most expensive entry plan in this group is Attio at $1,260 a year. The spread between them is $936, for three people.
A three-person team does not need pipeline forecasting, territory rules or a sandbox. It needs contacts, deals, email logging and a reminder to follow up. Every tool below does that on its first paid plan. The ranking is by first-year cost at three seats, on yearly billing where the vendor offers it.
| Tool | Cheapest paid plan | Per month (3 seats) | First year | Per seat |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Close | Solo | $27 | $324 | $9 / seat |
| monday CRM | Basic | $36 | $432 | $12 / seat |
| Zoho CRM | Standard | $42 | $504 | $14 / seat |
| Pipedrive | Lite (yearly only) | $42 | $504 | $14 / seat |
| HubSpot Sales Hub | Starter | $60 | $720 | $20 / seat |
| Salesforce Sales Cloud | Starter Suite | $75 | $900 | $25 / seat |
| Attio | Plus | $105 | $1,260 | $35 / seat |

What the cheap plans leave out
Entry plans are cheap because they hold back the features that make a CRM sticky. Before you pick on price alone, check these four:
- Email sequences. Most entry plans give you templates but not automated multi-step sequences. If you send the same three follow-ups to every lead, this alone decides your plan.
- Reporting. Pipeline value by stage is standard. Win rate by source or rep usually is not.
- Integrations. Check your calendar, your inbox and your billing tool specifically. "Integrates with 400 apps" means nothing if yours is the 401st.
- Record limits. Some entry plans cap contacts or custom fields. Growing past the cap forces an upgrade at the worst time.
Free is a real option at this size
HubSpot Sales Hub, Zoho CRM, Attio and Salesforce Sales Cloud publish free plans that cover a three-person team for a while. The trade is usually a contact cap or no email automation. If your sales motion is simple and your volume is low, run free for six months and pay only when you hit a wall you can name.
Where the cost really moves
The first-year price above is the easy part. What costs money later is the jump to the second tier. HubSpot Sales Hub goes from $20 to $90 per seat when you need Professional, plus a $1,500 onboarding fee. Pipedrive and Zoho CRM climb in smaller steps. Look at the second plan's price before you commit to the first, because that is the plan you will be on in eighteen months.
Price your own three-seat stack in the calculator and add the other tools you pay for. The CRM is rarely the whole bill.
Questions people ask
What is the cheapest CRM for 3 users?
Close on the Solo plan, at $27 a month for three seats on yearly billing. Free plans from HubSpot and Zoho cover a small team too, with contact caps and no email automation.
Does HubSpot have a seat minimum?
Not on Sales Hub Starter. Monday CRM requires three seats on every plan, which does not matter for a three-person team but changes the math for one or two people.
Should a 3-person team pay yearly?
Only for the CRM you are sure you will keep. The discount is usually 15 to 30 percent, but a yearly contract also locks the seat count.
